Overview
Lean Six Sigma is a methodology that combines two powerful approaches to process improvement. Lean, originating from the Toyota Production System, focuses on eliminating waste and increasing flow. Six Sigma, developed at Motorola and popularised by General Electric, uses statistical tools to reduce variation and defects in any process. Together, they form one of the most effective continuous improvement frameworks in use today.
The Green Belt level is the second tier in the Lean Six Sigma hierarchy, above Yellow Belt and below Black Belt. Green Belts are practitioners who lead or co-lead improvement projects, collect and analyze process data, and implement solutions within their area of responsibility.
This six sigma course follows the DMAIC structure across its modules, covering everything from project scoping and data collection through to statistical hypothesis testing and control plan development. By the end of the course, you will have the skills and confidence to lead a real Green Belt project and the preparation needed to earn your IASSGB certification from a recognized examination body.
